Professional responsibilities have evolved from managing the infrastructure and personnel of the Timberland global data center, including Change Management, to oversight of the migration of Timberland processing to the VF regional data centers in Europe, Asia, and North Carolina. My current focus includes global data backups and supervision of annual Disaster Recover exercises for all regional data centers. Aspects of IT Management and Operations that I am passionate about: · Lifecycle Management. · Continuous Improvement. · Repeatable processes with room for pragmatic solutions instead of rigid adherence. So, what makes me jump out of bed every morning, ready to face another day in the world of computing and cables? The short answer- COLLABORATION. I try to position myself as a go-to person. I want to help, even in areas outside of my own expertise. I enjoy solving problems and believe in asking questions until I understand what all sides of a given situation might be facing. My goal is to foster goodwill and trust within our IT organization. My rewards are strong relationships based on mutual respect. We work hard together, we have fun together, we take care of each other. I love my job and I am proud of the company I work for.
