Ron Taro’s Expertise While in High School I worked in many positions, mostly service station work where I learned a little about working on cars. After HS, I entered the military and was trained and worked as a crew chief on bomber aircraft where I learned a little about their supply chain, ordering aircraft parts. After the Air Force, I got a job as a delivery driver with NAPA (Genuine Parts Co), moved to inside sales and assistant parts manager. I left NAPA after 5 1/2 years and got a job with Massaro Detroit Diesel as an inside sales person. I was promoted to parts manager after 2 years and worked in that position for approx. 7 years. I then got a position as store manager of the local Donnelly Diesel branch, an aftermarket commercial vehicle parts supplier where I learned a lot about cvp and other diesel engines as well as more about management. Once Massaro went out of business, I was contact by Penn Detroit Diesel to manage their parts dept and I did. I worked as parts manager with Penn for 14 years, when I took the position of general manager which I have been doing for 10 years.
