At the age of 20 Roy qualified as a static-line instructor and at 21 he became the youngest AFF instructor in Belgium. But it wasn’t until 2002 when he co-founded Team Hayabusa that Roy’s dream started to become a reality. Over the next 4 years Hayabusa did whatever they could to train and jump together and in 2005 they won their first European Championship. Then in 2006 the team was invited to become the Belgian Army’s National Parachute Team. Since turning pro, Hayabusa has gone on to impress judges and smash records at multiple skydiving championships across the world. Today Roy has over 8500 skydives, more then 2000 hours of windtunnel and is a sought FS coach by national teams.
