Sangyong Yun’s Expertise I served as an interpretation officer to the Third ROK Army (TROKA), now ROK Ground Operations Command, before pursuing further education. I obtained a Master's degree from Sogang University Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) and recently completed my Doctorate degree in Politics from Kyonggi University Graduate School (2021). As an export business marketer, I played a significant role in selling the first advanced jet trainer manufactured in Korea, the T-50, to Indonesia, totaling 16 aircraft. During my tenure at Hankuk Carbon, I led the establishment of a Korea-Israeli Joint Venture company for UAV (KAT) in 2018. Additionally, while working at Naviworks, I actively engaged in the Malaysian export program for PT-91M Tank simulators and Tactical battlefield simulation programs. In 2020, I embarked on a new endeavor by joining the National Assembly, starting with the Government inspection session. This decision allowed me to gain invaluable insight into the legislative process and complement my extensive experience in the private sector of the defense industry. Throughout my time in the National Assembly, I had the opportunity to collaborate with various entities, including the ROK Ministry of National Defense, Army, Navy, Air Force, and DAPA, thereby enhancing my holistic understanding of the defense sector.
