My main task during the Autumn term was learning how to blend these roles and combine tasks to avoid overwhelming my brain. Background - I commenced a varied military career in 1985 which gave me a brilliant cross section of responsibilities and experiences. When I commissioned into the QARANC in 1998 it coincided with an increase in military activity overseas. As a Theatre Nursing Officer I served in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan. On retirement from the army I was able to draw upon my clinical and HR experiences in my last role as SO2 HCG and Training to deliver OH across a number of food industry establishments.
