We looked at the spread of civilization, and then focused on specific areas of the Earth---Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. American Problems was the third course I taught. This was a semester course for students who were at-risk for not graduating or being credit-deficient. We looked at economic problems, immigration, foreign policy, weapons proliferation, Iraq and Afghanistan, Constitutional issues, and race. The fourth course I taught was Global Problems. This was a semester course for students who were at-risk for not graduating or credit-deficient. We looked at global poverty, world health and population, human rights, genocide, and climate change.
