Scott Langton’s Expertise I have over 25 years of experience in menswear design within the U.S. market. After earning a master’s degree in menswear from the Royal College of Art in London and completing an apprenticeship with Richard James on Savile Row, I was hired as head designer for Phat Farm, the iconic brand founded by Russell Simmons of Def Jam fame. Later, I joined Sean John as Creative Director, where I led the team to win the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year award in 2004. Following this success, I launched the streetwear brand Artful Dodger, which was later purchased by Jay-Z and Iconix. I then created Under Two Flags in partnership with GTFM, the founders of FUBU, securing global retailers such as Harvey Nichols. I have since worked with industry giants - Global Brands Group and NYC Alliance as VP and Creative Director, helping grow iconic international brands such as Frye, Tretorn, and Le Tigre. With the wealth of experience and resources, I founded Scott Langton Studio this year—a design consultancy and resource platform for both emerging and established designers to thrive and succeed.
