Career wise, I'm a graduate of the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida and have been in banking for 46 years. From 1975 to 2005, I worked for 5 banks that through merger became Bank of America. During that time, I served in many positions, including Branch Manager, Compliance Officer, Community Development Manager and Senior Loan Officer. In December 2005, I joined First America Bank as Comptroller. First America Bank subsequently merged with Harbor Community Bank which merged with CenterState Bank which is now SouthState Bank. Whew!!! During my career I have acquired extensive knowledge and experience in Bank Operations and Lending.
