  I started working for Spenard Builders Supply March of 1998. I originally started in receiving and have advanced to Inventory Control Specialist. Through the years I achieved a ton of skills, both computer technical and excellent retail sales. I pride myself on learning every chance I can. Throughout my time with the company I have done a tremendous amount of training on my own. After I had been Inside Sales for a few years, I took over the Paint Manager position. I strived to learn as much as possible about paint, stains, applicators, paint sprayers and even industrial coatings. I sought out any training, within the company or even just online while I was at home. that was available to me. Eventually after being not just the Paint Manager, Inside Sales II and Inventory Control Specialist Junior, I took over as the primary Inventory Control Specialist Senior position full time. My wife and kids call me a work-aholic, but I would say I am dedicated to seeing the store, I feel I have grown up with, to succeed and continue to grow it’s business. That is why I have worn so many “hats” at my store and helped with so many projects through the years. From remodeling, painting the store, upgrading the store, to painting and staining material, then helping to assemble structures for our Homeshows and Contractor Shows. But the most important part of my time with the company has been the time and connections with my coworkers. I do tend to spend a lot of time at work, so I don’t have many friends outside of my job. But some of the fine outstanding people I work with I would call family and hope they would call me family too. Hireart
