I am an expert at video games and graphic production pipeline development in general, Next-Gen real-time rendering and Pre-Computed Rendering. My specialties include Autodesk 3DSMax & Maxscript; HLSL; C# programming and technical decision-making around game production. I am also a privileged contact point for artists and programmers, effectively implementing solutions for technical production problems. My key areas of expertise include Computer Graphics; GPU; 3D; Video Game Production; Optimising GPU & CPU Game Performance; Tools development; Realtime Rendering Creation; Shaders; Survey & Optimise Memory Usage; Demystifying Technologies Used On Production and Training & Mentoring. I have delivered many achievements during my career including: * Organised and led 1 week of training sessions for 40 artists from Singapore, Philippines and China studios * Delivered around 35% cheaper LODs in game * Implemented ‘fake ship’ LOD system to drastically cut drawcalls number in the distance * Implemented C# validation scripts to test the user data before it is sent to production server * Developed complex ‘ship shader’ supporting colour customisation and ‘damage’ * Worked on vegetation shader to support realistic wind motion on foliage: reused on Assassin Creed origin * Reduced ship mesh costs by 25% in memory by building tools and shader to quantise and pack vertex colour information in 2x8 bit channels * Provided key solutions to realise and fit-in memory – the biggest world (16x16 km) ever completed on AC brand.
