I also broke the monopoly of contractors carrying out maintenance of cranes at exorbitant prices and designed a simple system of draining the Marine Loading Arms to improve reliability of operations at crude oil Jetty .I pride myself at having been appointed by the Indian Maritime University as one of the consultants for the study of Feasibility of Exporting Bitumen in liquid form from Mumbai Harbour by HPCL. I visited France to carryout pre-delivery inspection of control system of Marine Loading Arms.I was responsible for replacement of 36"dia pipeline at splash zone without decommissioning the jetty and for the optimization of Oil Water Separation process. Two loading arms were installed on urgency during monsoon season successfully under my supervision. My long-term plan is to be a Leader in Port/ Oil & Gas related industry, creating facility to design and manufacture port equipment in India and grow exponentially.
