Over the past 4 years, I have completed a few IT contracts and have learned more and more about the IT world as I grow professionally. In my current contract, I’m a Project Manager & Change Adoption Analyst, for an Environmental Consulting Company. Working remotely, within the IT department and reporting to the Vice President of IT. One of my key responsibilities is acting as the intermediary between multiple areas within IT. Throughout the day I handle lots of random daily tasks (create spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, on/off boarding new team members, contract reviewing, creating training materials, implementing change management activities and timecard review and approvals). As the Project Manager, my team and I just finished up a project, where we implemented a new Salesforce plugin used for OFAC screening, to keep the Enterprise in compliance with federal sanctions regulations.
