In 2021, I received the State Encouragement Award in Biological Sciences from the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. I am a member of the National Committee for Women in Science (Egypt) and the Egyptian Young Academy of Sciences (EYAS). I am the principal investigator (PI) and Co-PI of several projects on translational cancer research. I am a peer reviewer and editorial board member for more than 30 international scientific journals.
