Simon’s freelance work has spanned a variety of professional roles, from design assistant in the ceremonies department for the 2006 Commonwealth Games (where his articulated scale model of Dan Potra’s ‘Flying Tram’ for the 2006 Commonwealth games is held in the Museums Victoria collection) to development, construction and installation of projects for theatre, TV, film and exhibitions. Throughout a 25 year career, he has gained extensive professional experience across the creative arts sector, developing strong communication skills.
