I was responsible for constructing risk modeling methodologies for ETF's, Mutual Funds and Alternatives using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques. As a Index Quant at Evalueserve, I supported index research of a leading investment bank in developing investment strategies across asset class such as equity, fixed income & derivatives. Mathematics has always been my forte since childhood. My proclivity towards mathematics motivated me to pursue course work in engineering at IIT-BHU. My Bachelor's degree provided the essential technical and analytical skills to start a career in quantitative finance. I thoroughly enjoyed working on both quantitative and strategic aspects of finance and risk. I aspire to employ the acquired knowledge in various mathematical & statistical techniques and computational skills to better understand the financial markets and the models currently employed in the various realms of finance.
