  A little bit about me: I have always had a passion for healthcare because I enjoy the challenges that come with the industry. When I first started college, I was going for Nursing. However, I soon realized not only I enjoy the patient care, but I have always wanted to be a business woman. So I thought to myself, what type of job can I get that I can have the best of both worlds. As result, I chose Healthcare Administration as my degree focus. Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, I quickly found a job to grow my career. I am now in healthcare and working as a Business Manager handling the day to day operations. I always put more than 100% into my work to make sure that the company has what it needs to serve its community and maintain profits. Within my role as a Business Manager, I also get exposure to the Human Resources management in which I also enjoy greatly. Of course every role has its own challenges but I enjoy the element of surprises because not everyday is the same. As a working professional, I'm constantly searching for ways to improve my processes to reduce cost and maintain efficiencies for my company. In my role, I was able to reduce many expenses by undertaking inventory management and distribution control, contract review and re-negotiating, maintained medical and office equipment to reduce the cost of repairs, and there are times where I put on the IT hat and solved IT related issues because we do not have an in-house IT department. I enjoy working in teams and being able to share my ideals with others. I desire and welcome all new challenges, and can adapt to changes rapidly.
