The type of nursing done in the ED can vary greatly from shift to shift, whether it be clinic nursing, trauma nursing, triage, floating, or ER nursing, which takes a good generalist. While I have garnered a considerable amount of flexibility and confidence in stabilizing and taking care of dynamic and critical trauma patients, I have also been tempered by fast-paced, high-stakes situations where people's lives and well-being are on the line. I have developed a diverse and utilitous skill-set and wish to expand my horizons to include employment both inside and outside of the nursing realm wherever my skill-set may be applicable, including but not limited to sales, patient care or consulting.
