Right out of school, I got a taste for all things PDK in the best way possible - I joined a startup. Wore many hats - Created Symbols, Coded Pcells, Rule decks, created QA cases, setup regressions, wrote technical manuals and then supported the customer. Multiple foundries & multiple tech nodes. My next challenge gave me a front row seat to the processor world, when I supported Oracle's entire design division as their DRC expert. Work included collaborating with Vendors & Foundry, developing custom rule decks in multiple tech nodes, leading automation projects & supporting the teams through multiple tape outs. I got to be part of a node from conception to product and, experience the rush (and exhaustion) of a tape-out. At GlobalFoundries, I've grown from being a DRC coder to leading cross-functional teams across various geo-locations. Working on multiple projects under tight timelines, supporting customer requests and changing priorities has taught me to be agile. I work with vendors in defining timelines and track support. I work with PMs and am involved from project scope creation to completion. Work also involves exec-level readouts, Continuous Improvement & Lessons Learned initiatives. My ability to collaborate, lead and deliver have earned me a CEO award & multiple Spotlight/Appreciation awards.
