  While finishing her senior year at the Kansas City Art Institute, Stacie interned with nationally acclaimed photographer Nick Vedros of Vedros and Associates. This experience brought the affirmation that she enjoyed the behind the scenes labor, set and prop styling, more than being behind the camera. This destination introduced wedding and event design and with with her photography and set styling background, a new channel for creativity had been found. Stacie became acquainted with a growing island interior design business and accepted an offer for a creative designer position with Tropical Lattitudes in 2005. While a sister business was set up in Costa Rica, Stacie took over the creative reins in the Turks and Caicos business. In 2006 TC Millwork was born, and after a phenomenal first year of booming business, Stacie signed on with the company to handle their Design Division.
