I have also worked in Computer Operations, Information Security and Systems Architecture. I most enjoy the development side of the business. I especially like to take massive amounts of raw data and produce useful reports from it. My preference is to use files and memory arrays, but I am also proficient in using databases/SQL. Two of my favorite projects were to develop a program to re-balance the load of an aircraft in the quickest time possible and to create a PC version of a mainframe application. The PCs were distributed throughout the country and the project entailed keeping the application data and software up to date without Internet connectivity. I prefer to do my documentation in HTML, since it is readily available to all users and uses a central source of information that does not have to be replicated, thus eliminating the use of outdated information.
