In aerospace manufacturing, Stefan worked to develop a non-contact hole inspection probe for one shot drill and fill applications in multi-material stacks which worked with robotic drilling systems enabling them to drill, inspect, and insert a fastener. In the medical field he has worked on projects such as a portable x-ray device where he integrated many of the device’s components to help the team move from the bench toward FDA and customer feedback gates. Additionally, Stefan also worked on a 3D scanner which is currently in use by Audiologists capable of measuring the inner ear for custom fit devices. On the construction technology front he has shadowed crews, uncovered payee / beneficiary links, supplier/sales/support channels, and developed an industrial drone capable of doing physical work in the reinforced concrete market.
