Steve Ingram’s Expertise To me it’s all about the people, every successful business (at least those I want to work with) are successful because of their focus on people, specifically their purpose and engagement. As the leader of EY's Financial Services Cyber Practice for the Americas, and founding Chair of the Americas Cyber Advisory Board, I had the privilege to lead a Team that delivered tremendous success with a real sense of purpose and a client first mindset. We executed on an account-focused, relationship-based strategy, signing and delivering record breaking projects, and more than tripling our revenues in 4 years with a 37% CAGR in profit. Prior to EY I enjoyed building teams and businesses across the Asia-Pacific as the architect of PwC's Cyber business in Australia, the Asia-Pacific-Japan Cyber Leader, and member of the ASEANZ Markets Council and Australia’s Consulting Leadership Team. Cyber challenges ahead include (1) quickly driving improvements in governance from both an enterprise-wide and corporate level perspective, particularly as we embrace and deploy more AI, (2) seeing Cyber as a business enabler rather than a Stop sign, and (3) helping deeply technical people develop greater commercial acumen to help apply their skills and realize greater enterprise value. Finally, Executives would do well to recognize Cyber investment decisions in the context of impacts on their internal stakeholders external customers (not just their own internal stakeholders). I enjoy this journey and am very excited about the challenges and the journey.
