Most recently as Principal Scientist at Titan Advanced Energy Solutions, I helped found the backbone of the company’s technology. I developed physical models and data analysis methods based on the interaction of ultrasound with internal states of lithium-ion batteries, developed a means for battery safety by early detection of conditions leading to fires and explosions, mentored junior staff with little or no ultrasound background, contributed as an inventor to the company’s patent portfolio, and was the liaison between the technical staff and the corporate intellectual property attorneys.
