At Huron Baptist Church we seek to "build lives for today and train leaders for tomorrow" through a focus on God-centered worship, biblical exposition, theological training, and personal discipleship. In 1983 I began my ministry at HBC with a small group of about 20 committed members. I led the congregation through a building program, relocating in 1993. Early in my association with the church I cast a vision for the advance of the gospel through the multiplication of local churches. We have had the privilege of sending out members to participate in multiple church plants and provide men to serve as leaders in several other churches. To date there are 10 men serving in vocational ministry who first served at HBC. I am thankful for the opportunity to contribute to their training.
