Stevie Manion’s Expertise Results driven individual with an eye for detail. Experience working in a fast paced high pressure environment, while prioritising and running several jobs. Ensured the scope, priority, execution strategy and budget are properly adhered to. Understand the importance and critical nature of detailed planning, ensuring contractual obligations are met. I am an ex apprentice trained in Fleet Planning with experience working at multiple BAE sites in a Fleet Planning/SoW planning role. I have also worked for other industries (Rail Maintenance, Logistics/Facilities Maintenance as a planner and planning manager, with unique issues, constraints and industry regulations. I have had responsibilities that have included, scheduling manning, maintenance man hours trending, spares orders/trending analysis, spares usage/audits, modification/upgrade packages, multi million pound maintenance plans, strategic and tactical planning and equipment quality audits. I lead a number of improvements within the team. I have introduced a regular continuous improvement meeting attended by Fleet and SMU personnel to find more efficient methods and update process and work instructions where applicable. This lead to an 83% reduction for incorrectly requesting tasking from SMU. I have lead the development of a new BRAG, with new processes for extracting and updating the BRAG ready for the PIRMs. These 2 improvements lead to a 50% reduction in the required tasks added during input lifing of the aircraft. And a reduction in the time taken to create a BRAG from 3 to 5 days to 1.5 to 2.5 days. I have become a key SME within the team for several tasks, and since March been leading others within the team, choosing priorities, redistributing workloads, providing cover for those in my team that require it, along with covering the absent team leader role and covering the fleet manager where required when he is unavailable or on leave. I single handedly managed the next 21 AC due in to SMU due to absences within the team, I have used this experience to retrain more senior members of the team. I have challenged other departments to meet our high standards and expectations for work required, bringing a more proactive and deeper understanding of the interconnected nature of our work. I have sought out mentorship and continue to ask for advice on ways I can improve my leadership/management style.
