I then gained "YouTube infamy" after creating a viral video about work-life balance, or lack thereof, of the average Japanese ‘salaryman’. This video amassed almost 1.5 million views and my channel reached just over 15,000 subscribers at its peak, and opened up within me a whole new arena of creativity, content creation and marketing (and bagged me a live interview on CNN). I worked tirelessly to ensure that I excelled both in my professional work, and as a content creator on YouTube. It was at this point that my health declined drastically. Perhaps the viral video was a foreshadowing of what was to become my ‘Post Viral Fatigue’ diagnosis… The challenges of managing health and professional ambition led me to co-found an accountancy and business advisory firm with my sister, which won the ‘Small Business of the Year’ award, sponsored by Amazon, within 18 months. My entrepreneurial spirit flourished as I founded Growth Budd Ltd., offering consultancy services that have helped countless businesses achieve their goals. Today, I continue helping businesses to grow and exit (Growth Budd), whilst also holding a CFO position at a technology matchmaking organisation operating within EMEA (SwiftWave International). Simultaneously, I am the proud co-founder of a UK based natural electrolyte powder supplement brand (MNRLS), all whilst championing physical, mental and emotional well-being.
