It builds communities for its films during the development phase by involving interested parties in all aspects of the filmmaking process. We also encourage partnerships as a service company in the UK for production management of US productions. No stranger to philanthropy, I now find myself on the other side of the coin. With years of experience chairing associations and fundraising events essentially for children around the world such as Jose Carreras’ concert in Hong Kong for the children in North Korea, American Women’s Association of Kenya’s Fashion Extravaganza for these street children to name a few. I am now calling on fellow philanthropists as a filmmaker to appeal to your instincts on what I consider an essential film for world distribution on a subject of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E). I started an investigation four years ago after being presented with the facts that 20 million people were suffering worldwide, and yet there was little government funding into research on it. Sufferers feel abandoned by the baffled medical profession, misunderstood by the public and told it was ‘all in their heads’. How could that be? I was determined to find out, so started the documentary What About ME? We have hours of footage shot in the UK, Sweden and the US. We are now seeking funding to complete the film and need your help to do this. All profits made will be donated to M.E research. Can you help by spreading the word?
