Lead times, minimums, and price.) •Create style numbers and update development data. •Overseeing production process. •Issuing production cutting tickets and trim pulls. •Going to wash and dye houses to oversee 1st loads, size sets and fits, before going into production. •Requesting and tracking all incoming fit, photo and advertising samples. •Working closely with patternmaker, and vendors to ensure product execution within a timely manner. •Assist Production Manager in day to day functions.• Taking part in product development and sampling stages for all existing and new product. • Creating purchase orders for fabrics, trims, and product on a daily basis. • Providing weekly WIP reports to managers. • Tracking product (1,500-3,000 units per season) from proto to final production. • Distributing and shipping product to overseas showrooms. • Working closely with designers, patternmakers, and vendors to ensure product execution within a timely manner. • Communicating daily with vendors domestically and overseas. • Following up with lab dips to ensure color execution. • Getting wash approvals. • Going to wash and dye houses to oversee product and new development.• Attend Concept, Proto Review and Adoption meetings • Manage product integrity and order specification compliance (including lab dips, wash targets, hand feel and shade bands, etc) • Work with Design and Technical Services teams to develop production ready samples for quarterly design presentations. • Manage SRS ordering and tracking process. • Monitor on-time delivery of protos and SRS. • Attain 100% On Time SRS delivery. • Promote collaboration, communication, and teamwork within the brand between Merchandising, Product Development, Production, and Design. • Management of production timelines, reviewing reports and recommending solutions to exceptions. • Assist Manager in managing flow. • Assist Manager in any required fabric reservation. Confirm fabric and trim with factories. • Work with mills, vendors to provide technical advice and give direction for problem solving. • Manage fabric reservation process, confirm fabric availability for proto development. • Develop the production placement plan & manage fabric reservations in conjunction with production team. • Support costing process by creating and distributing packages, issuing spreadsheets for tracking and conducting initial cost negotiation. • Develop relationships with mentors, peers, and all Productions channels. • Elevate and communicate high-risk potential order problems and issues, as appropriate. • Oversee, maintain and report cost, delivery and adoption ratios for developed goods. • Develops and refines sourcing strategy and allocation plan according to category needs with production team.
