Soon after our store opened my manager fell ill and I ran that store on my own. Soon after that I was promoted to manager of that store. I managed that store for about one year and was asked to manage a new store that was going to open and I repeated the cycle. From there on I traveled to manage stores for Signet Jewelers! While working in the Jewelry industry, I decided to go to college in which was very difficult but I made it work. I was able to succeed with the help of my District Manager and all of my professors. I graduated with my associates degree in Paralegal studies with a GPA of 3.8. I then went to the University of Alabama at Birmingham in which I had a GPA of a 3.7 in Finance and Accounting. After I had decided to move on from Signet Jewelers I had put my degree to some use. I worked at a law firm for a short period of time. My time in the law field was short lived because the attorneys that I worked for decided to part ways in which led to their closing. Law has and will always be a passion of mine. To work in a law environment again would be very rewarding. I decided to sell cars because it was a different selling experience that I wanted to conquer. I did just that! I was consistently the top sales professional at my dealership. I learned a lot about myself at this time and gained some more skills in negotiating, closing and finance. I did all of this while obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting. I got an amazing opportunity to work for Dana Augustine Inc; after recovering from a horrific car accident.
