  Ever since Middle School I knew that I wanted to do something related to computers and programming. In 7th grade we had to choose what we wanted to pursue for our major. In the STEM section, The Technology part of STEM had Video Game Design, which caught my eye at first, but throughout my High School career I drifted away from Video Game Design due to lack of teaching in my school district but knew I still wanted to program. When getting accepted into UNT and doing the first tour of the building specific for Computer Science students, we all sat in and watched a small video presentation for the Cyber Security Department and that's when I decided to pursue Cyber Security. I am currently a student at the University of North Texas, classified as a Senior with a GPA of 3.31. While studying at UNT I plan to get a Minor in Math and a Certificate of Cyber Security. The first two semesters I completed at UNT I received the Dean's list award from the Department of Engineering, and on my second to last semester I received the President's list award from the Department of Engineering. Currently I have applied to a couple Universities to peruse a Masters degree in Computer Science. I prefer to find a job in the Northern State or in any country in the European Union as I hold a dual citizenship, United States of America and The Netherlands allowing me visa free entry and living. I want to find a job in the Cyber Security field but am open to any programming job. Throughout my school years I have learned C, C++, and Java. I also have used Unity, and Adobe software. Thus far my job experience lies in fast food, which I was in the food industry for 5+ years, where the last two and a half years I held various positions as a manager, currently being a interim first assistant manager. I am expected to graduate on track in May of 2023 and will be looking for full time employment.
