  I was born in Sandusky Ohio on October 13, 1967. We later moved to Xenia Ohio and survived the F5 tornado in 1974. Our home was destroyed. We then moved to my current town of Marion Ohio. I was born with a love for automobiles in my blood. My father worked in the auto industry for as long as I can remember. He began in sales and worked his way up to used car sales or general manager of several dealerships including Chevrolet, GM, Ford, Toyota, and Honda culminating in opening his own used car lot. My first job was cutting the grass at the Toyota dealership in Marion. My father then moved me into the shop to perform other duties. I spent a majority of my free time detailing and working on my own vehicles that I had accumulated. My dad knew he had better make a deal when he saw an old car pull in because chances are it was going to be mine. I had several cars before getting my drivers license and made it my hobby to refurbish and resell classic vehicles. I worked at my fathers used car lot when I got the call from Honda in 1987. My career began in assembly in 1988. I then transferred to weld where i worked in A, B, C1, mig line, C2, C2 repair, and e-coat inspection. I enjoyed "teaching" and maintaining the sealer, mig, and spot welding robots during the early part of my seven years in weld department. I then moved to material service but did not leave weld. I worked on the KTH, JIC, Domestic docks, Canada bumpers / dash, and stamping deliveries. I became team leader over these areas as well as the weld in process cage before moving to the main and repair in process cages in the assembly side of material service. I am currently an EC in the Process engineering group and I still have my passion for cars. Honda Of America Mfg
