I received a foundation for surgical technique for improving a comprehensive, whole body approach to cosmetic surgery. I assisted and performed the following surgeries: blephoraplasty, breast augmentation and reduction, liposuction, abdominoplasty.I was responsible for overseeing the activities of myself and 3 physician extenders as we treated patients that presented with a host of acute needs. I read radiographs, interpreted labs and performed in-office procedures. I also coordinated transfer to referring facilities and communicated with accepting staff.I learned the foundations of surgery here at Mercy Hospital.
