Then I went on to start an internship at Sony Studios NYC in 1999 which lead to a assistant spot for Producer/Songwriter Jim Salamone at Sigma Sound Studio in Philadelphia till 2001. 2004 I became a Artist Development Rep. for EMI North America, I was involved in overseeing marketing and promotion from Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania up to Central New Jersey for all their Artist and Labels(Capitol Records, Virgin Records, Blue Note, e.t.c.) . Now in 2008 after "the shift", I co-own and operate a new- media lifestyle company called Respect The Culture L.L.C. We specialize in Music, Art & Fashion from a hip hop cultural perspective. At R.T.C our vision is simple: (1) return to the roots of hip hop culture in order to bring hip hop to the next stage in its evolution by focusing on: -positivity, creativity and non-violent means of expression; -socially, spiritually and politically conscious products; and -the four elements of hip hop: breaking, writing, mc'ing and dj'ing, as well as stying, beatmaking and family. (2) recognize the global nature of hip hop music and culture by bringing new sounds and cultures to the U.S. market; and (3) utilize the media of today and tomorrow via digital distribution, video and visual media and licensing for film and television.
