  I have studied Physics at the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.TH.), I received my MSc diploma from the Department of Informatics of the same University. I have working experience in MEMS/VLSI design, C/C++, Java, and Python programming, Unix/Linux administration/programming, FPGA design, FEA simulation, HDL (VHDL, Verilog, SystemC). I have participated in the development of several large scale applications for 3D modeling and 3D model reconstruction, image processing for medical and geophysical applications. My involvement in hardware design includes design and testing of VLSI chips using full custom and standard cell technologies as well as several designs using FPGAs. I have teaching experience in the fields of Unix and Computer Architecture computer programming classes (C/C++, Java, OO programming, Algorithms) at Higher Education Institutions.
