The following year Vernon joined his family church choir and the school choir. His voice broke at the end of thirteen. So his Walkman bacame his best friend at high school. The following year a woman saw him dancing and prancing with his Walkman. She called him and offered him free dance lessons. Vernon's favourite artists of all time is Michael Jackson so he went for it. It was Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz Dance. The last day of school he was singing on his way to his commune. No more at home. Two white producers said young guy we can give you work. Danced for Free Flight Dance Company at the same time. I was a backing vocalist for the late Miriam Makeba, Lebo Mathosa and did work with Brenda Fassie. I had a few roles in THE LION KING on WEST END. I did great jam sessions with Chick Corea and Marcus Miller while touring in Europe. The music that you will be listening to is my eighth c.d. I have recorded and produced over the last eleven years. I know my morals, and my principles. I will not stop. I know a door will open in some country. I have two singles that have radio airplay all over Southeast Asia. It's something. Music is my love. I sing because it's a gift I received so I can share love, peace, joy, happiness and light to those who want it. I will not stop. I'm a performer
