My recent experience at South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Blackpool Zoo, Bolton Fold Dairy Farm and Acorn Urban Farm has enabled me to obtain familiarity with a variety of wild, farm and domestic animals and gain valuable knowledge of the general health, breeding, conservation and nutritional requirements of these animals. I am keen however to gain a deeper understanding of animal welfare, nutrition and husbandry of non-native wild species and would also welcome the opportunity to learn about animal conservation and sustainability projects. I have an outgoing nature and would be confident to communicate enthusiastically with the public. My characteristics include being dedicated, hardworking and organised, I do not mind “getting my hands dirty” and have substantial experience of mucking out horses, cows and other farm animals.
