Dr. Summers has written a book Computer Viruses What They Are and How to Prevent Them. He has published articles on a variety of different areas in computer science in a variety of different venues. Dr. Summers teaches courses in computer networks, computer security, history of computing, and computer programming. He has supervised undergraduate and graduate research in a variety of areas.
