He is driven by a passion for developing and investment in sustainable energy – by this he strives to have a positive impact on the quality of life in emerging markets. He is recognized for his professional and pragmatic ‘can do’ mentality. He has a strong track record in closing transactions and managing teams. 2007 – 2017: At the Dutch development bank Mr. Van den Bos was first active in the Africa Team focusing on a wide variety of Infrastructure projects after which he became part of the Energy team. He has been pivotal in setting up the Energy MLA services. He advised several developers on strategic decisions and fund raising possibilities. Mr. Van Den Bos has a Master’s Degree in Financial Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he specialized in Corporate Finance (M&A, valuations, IPO’s). He started his career at merchant bank General Electric Artesia, before joining FMO in 2007. Since Oct 2017 he is working for Serengeti Energy.
