He is a Certified Building Official for the State of RI and a retired Journeyman Carpenter for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He was previously a Certified Residential Building Inspector for the International Code Council and a Certified Vocational Education Instructor in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
