Xiaobin Lin’s Expertise I have been working in the research and development area of fatigue and fracture for over 25 years, and published more than 50 widely-cited technical papers in leading journals and international conferences. My expertise includes numerical simulation of fatigue crack growth, low-cycle and high-cycle multi-axial fatigue, thermal and thermo-mechanical fatigue and fatigue of welds. More recently, I have been promoting fatigue technologies in China, and lecturing on various fatigue and durability technologies, including automotive durability engineering, aircraft structural integrity, safety assessment of pressure vessels and piping, and engine fatigue etc. I have a title of Guest/Visiting Professor in several leading Chinese universities.
