To investigate these issues, I use a wide array of approaches, from running web-based experiments through Amazon's Mechanical Turk, to building computational models of word recognition, to analyzing participants' pupil sizes in real-time and employing sophisticated statistics to analyze complex data. Currently, I'm considering taking my skills into industry rather than academia, and focusing on working as an applied scientist, data analyst, or the myriad of other jobs that start with "machine learning".
