Her role as the Business Development Associate and Client Implementation Partner at the business led and Presidentially endorsed Youth Employment Service (YES) is indicative that she never escapes challenges that are geared towards the inclusive development of communities. Her inclusive development approach was demonstrated through her being recognized and selected as a representative to receive an award and represent South Africa as a New Leader for Development for the international organization Crans Montana Forum. An alumni of the Swedish Institute she participated and completed the Transforming Change Leadership program focusing on Social Innovation business modeling and Organizational Development. She is currently pursuing her research in Inclusive Innovation as a Masters of Philosophy candidate at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. She is also an Honors degree graduate in Development Studies with a focus on Climate and Behavioral change in the Green Economy. With 7 years’ experience in the Alternative Energy sector, she co-founded and headed Yabasha Energy Solutions, an enterprise development driven organization seeking to empower and include young Green professionals and previously disadvantaged youth in the Green-Economy. She has several projects she has proved herself to be instrumental in, such as the National Solar Water Heating Programme and comes with invaluable experience as a strategic planner. Her long-term aspirations are to be a recognized leader in the sustainable development of Africa.
