I also work part time at Macy's as a beauty advisor. I enjoy this position because I help enhance women's beauty everyday and make them feel even more beautiful and confident then before they walked in the store. Making others feel good is a very rewarding experience. Before returning to school I had the opportunity to work for two amazing companies, PTM Consulting and Royal American Management. In these industries I was challenged to work independently as an Administrative Assistant and Leasing Consultant. My most memorable moment at PTM was creating a social media and online advertising campaign that generated enormous media buzz. We gained many recruits through our online social media pages as well as recognition from local media stations. I also worked as a Visual Merchandiser at JCPenney where I would transform the floor layout to create the ultimate shopping experience for our customers. Although I enjoyed every opportunity I was presented with in the field, education is what is most important to me. Before attending FSU, I was a full time student at Palm Beach State College. This is where I was first introduced to the Black Student Union and my kick-off to campus involvement. I am currently highly involved on campus in multiple organizations. I pride myself on giving back to the community that has given so much to me. Hopefully one day when I step back into the professional world, I can implement all that I am learning at FSU in the field.
